VEVA VDS getting started

Taking your first steps on a new VDS project

Be sure to install the VevaDesignSystem.Theme nuget package before you go on the journey.

When we are starting a new VDS project we need to get a design guide from the client or project manager.

Once you have that you can start by clicking the VEVA icon in the top left corner and navigating to "Websites"

At the bottom of the options under website is the VEVA Design System settings.

There you can upload logos, set the font and choose the color scheme

You can insert directly the name of the google font you want to use. To see availble Google fonts browse here: Browse Fonts - Google Fonts

You need to insert a regular logo and an inverted version as well if possible. Inverted is used when the background is dark.

Standard colors are already setup, but you will need to insert "Primary" "Secondary" and "Contrast" colors along with text color rules and accent color rules.

Once happy you simply hit "Save".
